Muse Winery
Owned by Jane & Peter Ellmann since 2008, the winery’s name pays homage to Jane, Peter’s life inspiration. Muse grows their grapes under the warm sun of the Saanich Peninsula, and names them with eclectic and witty charm.
Church & State Wines
Named for the symbolization of balance between the many elements involved in creating fine wines, Church & State has been recognized with awards for the “Best Red Wine in Canada” at the 2009 All-Canadian Wine Championships.
A family-run vineyard, with breathtaking views from the tasting room of the Strait of Georgia, Gulf Islands and Mount Baker, grapes are handled as little as possible, picked by hand and traditional Burgundian techniques are used to bring out the best in each lot.
Starling Lane Winery
Starling Lane is a partnership of three families founded on the belief that quality wines begin with a commitment to producing high quality grapes from small vineyards. Be sure to try the multiple-award-winning Ortega or Marechal Foch. Production volume is small, with Starling Lane limited production to 1000 cases annually.
Sea Cider Farm & Ciderhouse
Sea Cider revives the artisan cider tradition, with certified-organic, farm-grown apples pressed in the traditional rack and cloth method, then fermented slowly with champagne yeasts and aged to perfection. Robust to delicate, still to sparkling, each Sea Cider label promises a balance of flavours and aromas.
Victoria Spirits
Handmade in small batches in a gleaming copper pot, Victoria Gin is Canada’s first premium gin. The distillery also produces other spirits including Hemp Vodka, Oaken Gin, Craigdarroch Whisky and a variety of Eau de Vies. Also produced are “Twisted & Bitter”, a range of fine bitters with flavours such as Rosemary Grapefruit and Black Pepper.
